In some states, you can register to vote on Election Day.

This map is wrong when it says NC requires nothing to vote other than registration. In NC you sign a paper under penalty of law a felony that you are who you say you are. In 2016 there was one prosecution for fraudulent voting, a woman pretended to be her deceased mother to vote a second time for the president.

Meanwhile in GA the secretary of state who oversees the elections and is also running for governor refuses to recuse himself. Instead he is busy purging voter roles (1.2 million people), and has put a hold on thousands of new registrations (70% non white). This is the tyranny of the minority. So called conservatives can no longer win elections without destroying democracy and like the president they are perfectly willing to do that

It should be noted that some states, like my own state of N.C., have Same Day Registration.

Check with your local board of elections and see what the laws are in you state.

    And Go Vote!!!

If you don't vote please don't come back here whining about the outcome of the election in your district or state. You have a responsibility to make your choice at the polls. VOTE!!

Excellent timing since it is too late in 24 states. Maybe you should do a story for the residents of GA before it is too late.

I would love to see a turnout of 80% or higher. I doubt that will happen in my lifetime. Please vote everyone. Have a say in your (our) future and actively participate.

Please verify not only your registration status but also your assigned polling location. It takes a few seconds online but can save you a lot of time waiting in line on election day.
